Grief Recovery Method Support

Getting through grief is hard. Going it alone is harder.

Get support healing losses (past and present) with The Grief Recovery Method® (GRM). The GRM is a gentle, evidence-based process for recovering from the complicated emotional experience of life after loss. Work in a small group or in one-on-one sessions.

Past losses can add up. When that happens, every time you experience a new loss, old losses can resurface.

Like how when one relationship ends and you find yourself grieving old relationships all over again. This can make grief feel impossible and too big to manage.

Yet, you can work through past and present losses in small, manageable action steps. And you don’t have to do it alone.

For over 40 years The Grief Recovery Method® has helped people be able to complete their grieving process and experience a new lease on life.

With the Grief Recovery Method®, you’ll learn how to:

Accept and become aware of your own experience of grief.

Identify 40 different types of grief you might be experiencing, some of which may surprise you.

Work through feelings of grief that stem from a wide range of losses.

Examine short-term energy-relieving behaviors (like overworking, using food/alcohol, video games, shopping, etc.) used to reduce feelings of grief and determine if something else might be more supportive to your recovery process.

Talk in a safe place with safe people (or a safe person if we’re working one-on-one) about your experience of grief and loss.

Included in your group or individual program:

As the COVID-19 pandemic stretched into what would be at least 3 years, I noticed my clients’ unparalleled grief. Not just for things you’d traditionally think of the death of a loved one, though there was much of that too, or divorce, but also the grief of things left undone: proms, retirement plans, holiday plans. The loss of trust in communities where people believed different sets of information about the pandemic.

These were losses that most people didn’t consider that they needed to grieve about. They were barely on anyone’s radar as grief at all. And I knew I could help.

As an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist, I am available for online one on one sessions (one hour a week for 7 weeks) as well as group sessions (two hours a week for 8 weeks).

I welcome the opportunity to help you process your grief, whether it is due to a death, loss of a relationship, a pet, health or financial changes, a loss of trust, faith, or hope.
